Ansar was a brilliant student, and he excelled in school, scoring 91% in his tenth standard. He went on to earn a degree in political science from Pune College. However, his parents couldn’t afford his studies, and he had to work hard to fund his education.

Ansar’s hard work and determination paid off when he cleared the UPSC exam at the age of 21. He was allotted the West Bengal Cadre and is currently serving as ADM, Cooch Behar.

Clearing the UPSC exam is no easy feat, and Ansar had to put in a lot of hard work and dedication to achieve his dream. His preparation strategy involved focusing on his optional subject, political science, for the first six months, followed by the general studies papers for the next six months. He spent the next three months revising and preparing for the remaining UPSC mains papers.

Ansar spent the next nine months studying for the preliminary exam and then spent the following 100 days preparing for the mains exam after clearing the prelims. Finally, he spent the last 40 days preparing for his UPSC personality test. Throughout his preparation, he typically spent 10-12 hours a day studying, with longer hours of 14-15 hours daily before the main exam.

Ansar faced several personal struggles while preparing for the UPSC exam. His father had a drinking problem, often leading to domestic violence in the family. However, Ansar remained focused on his studies and never let these challenges come in his way. He even helped his younger brother prepare for his IAS exam while working in a garage.
